It’s difficult to believe that twenty-five years have passed since the devastation of 9/11 changed so much in our county and our lives. In the response, we also saw the best of America.

You’d imagine One Nation being racists and bigots, going after Muslims, childcare funding, immigration, workers rights, and calling Andrew Hastie a traitor has alienated, brown people, immigrants, women, the “working class” and old conservatives but alas it seems many Australians are ignoramuses.

Please don’t bring the “entire planet” into it. Americans are responsible for Trump. No one else. They should be embarrassed about him, no one else. When you see the knuckle dragging MAGA folks on the TV at the Republican Convention - they deserve every misogynistic, lying, corrupt cell of him.

I have never understood humans who ride in the carriages of steam trains let alone animals. I get the experience of riding in the cab with the driver and fireman, I’d quite like to do that, but riding in old carriages, sitting on hard seats with the noise and soot coming in the window is a bit odd.

A Republican moron blessing the Australian ABC News 24 Channel says (paraphrased) Trump’s promise to give every American $5,000 dollars if he wins the Mid-Terms is not buying votes but giving Americans a reward for their hard work in hard times. I guess we have to believe it, our duopoly do it too.
