my irl friends have endured enough magic yap
The main thing to take from this Secret Lair is that you should be firing up ms paint and making your own proxies.
How much do I have to pay Secret Lair so they don't let OSM Worldwide hold my order hostage in York?
I only feel negative sentiment towards magic influencers when they start the video standing in front of a bad card shouting "Why is no one playing this?!," and that's just because I resent the clumsy attempt to spike their bulk.
I threw this in as a curve filler at prerelease, but it actually put in work: reset sagas, redeployed Bilbos, de-Grasped Lieges. I only had a handful of cards worth playing in my pool, so playing them two or three times felt great.
Some UB IPs are never going to jibe with Magic because the game's rules text constantly reinforces the frame that the player is a powerful wizard. You don't spend resources to play cards in your deck, you tap for mana to cast spells you get from your library.
There's two more Marvel sets. X-Men is one, the other is Guardians of the Galaxy, two stones each. There's not going to be a "mystical" set. No one is chasing a serialized Ghost Rider.
Broke: "Miyazaki is a huge Magic fan, so the Elden Ring set is inevitable." Woke: "Miyazaki is a huge Magic fan, so he probably hates Universes Beyond."
