Got bored & curious (dangerous combo). According to some crackhead math, I calculate that my boi Garnet would be worth just over one trillion dollars. He also would weigh half a metric ton. That's at his smallest size. I had to estimate numbers, but I wanted an approximation.

First I found an online calculator where you input body weight and body fat percentage to get the volume of a person in m³. The answer I got is that Garnet's body is 0.1153m³. I looked at another website to confirm if that number sounds reasonable, and it looks to be so I went ahead with it. For the spikes I had to draw out a rough Garnet on the side, estimate his height at 188cm, and use the ruler tool in Krita to get some dimensions on the spikes. They turn out at 0.0258m³. I overshot the number a bit because this is a bit of a shitpost and partially because I will be missing a bit from his horns, heel, and hand gems. So I'm compensating here. Now that I have the total volume, I had to find the density of garnet at 3823kg/m³. Because gems are measured in carats and 1kg = 5k carats. The math I got is that Garnet weighs ~539.43kg, a bit over half a metric ton. But more importantly, he weighs 2697127 carats. Here's the hardest part: estimating what parts of his body are Rhodolite (pink/pink-red), or Spessartine (orange/orange red). I found a site that lists weight of human body parts as percentages of total body weight (this is gonna put me on a list). I doubled the number of hands and feet as Garnet has two. Since only his shoulders are Spessartine, I estimated that ⅖ of the upper arm is the shoulder from diagrams. And for the waist, I estimated that 1/10 of the trunk is the waist. Yup, these numbers were pulled out of my ass by eyeballing it. In the end I got that ~%12.27 of Garnet's body was Spessartine with the rest being Rhodolite. This would total out to a grand total of $1012663303.42

Right now the situation is grim in my city. Things are going downhill FAST. Prices are skyrocketing as life is unsustainable here. After dealing with skin and colon cancer twice, my body is barely able to hold together. So, with my head down and my tail between my legs, I hope for any help.

Had the idea for a character so jacked you could peer through the space formed between his chest and the stringer’s strap. 🫠 Thought there’d be more space, (any bigger and the traps get in the way at this angle) but still hot
