That part of that song (the last 2 mins) is like the most ominous, sick groove. It has nothing to do with the rest of the song. I don't think the guy ever made anything like it. It's better to listen to from the actual movie, with all of the dialog, FX, and background score, though.

I've forgotten how to use the Octatrack (again.) Tonverk has supplanted it, but I know there has to be a way to integrate it into my current setup of...just Tonverk. The one huge thing that it still has going for it is realtime resampling.

Joey Beltram borrowed a lot of samples from Orbital, back in the day. Did he ever have to pay them for sampling "Chime?"

I suppose it's "old guy" stuff, but the theater experience is too loud for me, now. I was made to watch Spiderman and the bass was so crushingly intense and low that I felt I was being sonically assaulted. Is this just a music-producer-guy being paranoid about his hearing or am I being a "baby?"

I don't know if anyone knows/cares about this stuff on bsky, but X-Men '97 is a phenomenal animated show. It includes storylines from all my favorite x-men comics I read as a kid. For some reason, I didn't absorb the stories as much as I did when watching this series.
