Recently worked on a Hunter Call Ledger in Sea of Thieves, and had the most efficient Redmaw fight I've ever experienced. Never got bit! Never exploded! My galleon crew did great landing cannon shots and utilizing spears to interrupt every charge. Rocked our boat at one point, but no damage.

Welp. Thanks to terrible local laws and spineless companies, I now have to use a third party app and/or ad blocker to access this site. Because I refuse to give some contracted company my credit card, ID, or social.

Very usual for them to emphasize the recording date of a video. I’m hoping this means they do plan to directly address the community scandal eventually. It’s my understanding that local law prevents them from discussing or making employment decisions until after a criminal investigation.

A little later than planned following its recording in early May and the postponed Act 3, our latest Developer Update is now live. This video covers game health improvements, tweaks to the Bilge Rats Weekender and some discussion of Doubloons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsbgeJ4DCKk

I find it interesting that this new outpost cosmetic set is a recolor, but who's pieces seem to be pulling from multiple previous sets. Hat: Parrot Eyepatch: Gold Hoarders Jacket: Heroic Helm Gloves and Pants: Order of Souls Hook and Boots: Ocean Crawler Belt: Majestic Sovereign

A screengrab from the May 18, 2026 Sea of Thieves video showing off the upcoming Painted Peacock set, which appears to be a black, white and blue recolor of items from multiple other sets.

From the arrival of Last Ship Standing to our next Gold & Glory Weekend, the latest episode of Sea of Thieves News is here: https://youtu.be/5tUSfIqbuNk

So, here's where I'm at with Sea of Thieves. While the in-game status is shaky, there's still a few things I'd like to try to accomplish in it, at least while I have a regular crew and the servers are running. It would take the devs themselves doing something incredibly stupid to dissuade me.

Just found out that someone I've been following since getting into Sea of Thieves apparently solicited a minor. If you are anywhere in the game's social media sphere or discord, you likely know who I am talking about, so I will leave it at that.

New #seaofthieves curse being sold by Duke for doubloons. The closest thing I have to a gimmick for this game is designing pirate outfits and ships with inspiration from each curse, excluding Hourglass ones. But I had originally planned to limit this to 9 sets.

Season 20 seems like it will be a much needed breather season to allow devs to work on game health and long standing bugs, with custom servers being the primary new shiny thing. It's also encouraging that they are once again focusing on crew interaction via the "no raids" experiment.
