Unpopular take: I program with the assistance of chatbots. Different kinds of coding assigned to the appropriate bot. I learned to program before GenAI. Now coding with an integrated AI assistant, From a lazy 1x developer to the fabled 10x developer. Claude is my pair programmer 4 lyfe.
Interesting quirk from Copilot. I was working on some SQL scripts for a work project. Got this response when I asked it about file synchronization (a non-SQL topic). Essentially, it told me to ask someone else. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

From this year's battlecode at MIT. Not a bug, but a feature: Rat Squeaks can be read for five rounds. Reminds me of pheromones and scent trails. Squeaks call attention to a square, not a rat. Scent trails and pheromones allow tracking.

Pausing work on reddit-bsky bot. January will be the battlecode.org programming competition. Teams code autonomous apps, then battle code v code. My first year competing. My team (up to four players) is Neriak Corporation. Kicks off 5 January with night classes for the first couple weeks.

Making a bot that reads subreddits and creates bsky messages. Which subreddits should it echo? What source (other than reddit) should I add after reddit-to-bsky is built? I think I want an edgelord bot, eventually making its own memes.
Freezing features for skynet-core. Version 2.2.0-core is the latest release. github.com/Global-Synta... Sematic Kernel integration is on the roadmap for skynet-enterprise. As is Microsoft Copilot support. Enterprise will carry a different license than skynet-core. Still supporting bug fixes.
Happy with my GitHub Copilot subscription, but FOMO has me wanting Anthropic. For $10 per month, I have unlimited access to ChatGPT and metered access to Claude. By far, Claude is my favorite. Claude pro subscription is $200 per year or $20 per month. Their AI is the strongest, but it's spendy.
