Cofounder and CEO Mike Zelkind noted in a statement that the company has been unable to secure the necessary capital to continue the business.

Rooftop solar hardwires into your main panel via a dedicated breaker, so it requires a permit, an installer, an electrician, and a utility agreement. Balcony solar just plugs into a wall outlet, sharing an existing circuit with no permits or rewiring.

You know who has the most wind turbines in the U.S.? Texas. Then Iowa. And you know who has even more? China. You think they’re “losers” for having a cheap, clean, reliable, domestic source of energy? 🙄

I think one reason I don’t like Silo — beyond the terrible acting (Common, especially) and glacial pace — is how much of it ripped off previous SciFi stories. I swear half of it was taken from Logan’s Run.

Crap. I shared a post that I thought was funny and interesting, but turned out to be pure AI slop. Ugh. Deleted.

My god. I’ve been watching 3 seasons of Silo, and I’ve tried to stick with it… But tedious pacing, extremely bad acting (Common is awful), and absolutely no connection to the characters… I give up. It thought it would eventually get better, but it just sucks. Ugh.
