I have officially landed in Burbank. Another year, another SCaLE, here we go!

Nom nom nom

Yes

Well, its been about a week, I'd say about 95% of the required features are all there. The UI still needs some work, but it's usable: github.com/GloriousEggr...

Idk if Monster Hunter can ever have a good story because the core theme of "we're protecting the ecosystem" will always be at odds with the core gameplay loop of "I'll murder as many lizards as it takes to get this cool hat."

🤤

Officially landed in Burbank,CA. For those attending SCaLE I'll be working the Open Wine Components booth next to the Lutris booth this weekend! 🍻

Anyone plan on attending SCaLE in Pasadena this year that doesn't have a pass yet? I've got two extras. (March 6-9)

I found the Rosetta stone, it says stop rewriting everything in Rust 😂

LMAAAAOOO Context: People are flocking to actual Chinese government owned TikTok-like app called RedNote to spite U.S. Government over potential TikTok ban. Duolingo tweeted this today.

We rebased Nobara's kernel patches on top of CachyOS's kernel (mostly hardware patches) and now it goes burr a little more ;) flightlesssomething.ambrosia.one/benchmark/974d

Nobara 41 is officially released, happy new year! nobaraproject.org/2025/01/01/j... wiki.nobaraproject.org/general-usag...

New Nobara 41 wallpapers are done... waaaait a minutee...

Finally have obs-cef compiling again on f41 for the latest obs rc pre release \o/.

I'll be in London Jan 28-30th site seeing, then in Brussels 31-3rd attending FOSDEM if anyone wants to say hi or hang out :). I'm not working a booth or doing a speech or anything this time, just enjoying the trip

Good to see the official Steam account here.

Hello to the Bluesky community! We're trundling on in with an announcement; the Steam Autumn Sale starts next Wednesday, November 27th with deals on games of all types - from games that are blue, to games that are about skies, and everything in between.

I want a pet raccoon so bad. I wish they could be domesticated like cats/dogs. Big fluffy trash bandit. I need.

just a note to people -- don't buy shitty offbrand controllers. just had two days worth of diablo iv crashes because of an offbrand controller constantly disconnecting (both via wireless dongle and via bluetooth) which would cause steam input to freak out the game to freeze up.

Part of me wants to start dedicating time to beat Elon Musk in Diablo IV ranking just to stop his ass from bragging about it...

I will say I've seen a lot more people giving bluesky a try than when mastodon was the only alternative. Idk, it just seems like it sticks better with people. Nothing against mastodon, just something I've noticed. people like streamers/youtubers/influencer types seem more inclined to join bluesky

Thanks everyone for the follows! There's so many of you! If anyone is an active regular/daily poster and wants a follow back please respond here! I've followed some people but I'm looking for active engagement. I post/engage a LOT on the other site and would like to move away from it

WTF is going on here at Blue Sky? People are civil to each other. People having intelligent discussions. People are spelling things correctly. I haven’t seen any racism or sexism. I’m confused.
