a closer look at some of the lil details in today’s page. a pump bottle of testosterone gel (based off my own) on saff’s bedside table, a washer with a dent from the door handle, a lemon soda and a chair fixed with tape, a broken bottom drawer. things to make the house feel a little more lived in :)
bsky wasn’t working for me earlier today but finally here’s page 94!
cleaned out a drawer and found some super old glow party drawings from before I even decided to make it a clothing optional comic (which is why they all have clothes on). this was before they had names! rose didn’t even have her horns yet lol totally forgot about these. cool to find them again :)
first ref sheet(s) finished! I love how the colors look. I’ll be adding more random info about my characters with each one of these I post. I’ll put some stuff about Peach in the comments here, but I love yapping about my ocs, so if there’s any specific questions y’all have, ask away!
some of the line art for chapter 5 went back and redid some of it and i’m pretty happy with how it’s looking so far
(1/2) to be honest with y’all when I started this comic it was a lot of fun, but now working on it feels like a bit of a chore, and I think it definitely shows in how delayed the pages have been. i’m not stopping the comic, it means a lot to me and I wanna finish it. I think I really just want to-

wait I can see dms again. i’m so confused 😭 I was hit by age verification for a single day and now it’s gone? I never put my ID in… it just sort of disappeared and now I can chat with people again. that’s good! but confusing. I just hope it lasts.

a bit later than intended, but the next page is nearly ready. i’ve also been working a lot on the writing for this story, which has been a lot of fun. glow party is the first thing i’ve written since i was in high school, and it has successfully gotten me back into writing <3
world building? in MY glow party? yeah! world building stuff. certain features in my characters are more common than other features in this world. some bodily/facial features on these lists don’t belong to any current GP characters, but WILL belong to new characters in future chapters.
ok wow the difference between the first bedroom I drew in this comic vs the most recent bedroom I drew is nuts. I had quite literally no idea what I was doing when I started glow party and it’s so cool to see the progress i’ve made :)
thursday’s page won’t be ready this week as I haven’t been feeling well, but the new pages will continue next week 👍

also glow party is SO close to 100 pages! makes me so happy and excited to see that this comic I care so much about is about to be in the triple digits
I’ve never actually mentioned it, but the way saffron talks… saying “yall” and “ain’t” and generally sounding kind of southern, is very purposeful. I write his dialogue EXACTLY the same way I talk irl. actually it’s harder for me to write for the characters that DONT have southern accents 😭
page 92! i love how the bedroom turned out. this page took a while but it turned out pretty cute imo. honestly the main inspiration for saffron’s house, including this bedroom, is my childhood house where it was cozy and the sun glowed through the windows <3 i wanted his house to have a similar vibe
page 90! pretty happy with how this page turned out. I think it’s the most detailed comic page I’ve drawn in a while. so glad I get to show y’all the inside of the house now

whipped up a new cover for the comic fury site. it’s pretty similar to the old one, but I think it’s a little cleaner looking
bleh. finally started to get out of the slump i’ve been in and im actually making progress on the comic. started doing this thing where I set a timer for an hour and just try to focus on drawing the comic for just an hour. idk why but it helps with motivation. should have a couple new pages soon :)
working on the rest of chapter 4 and ALSO working on chapter 5 of glow party at the same time 😭 excited to be drawing candy and fizz again though! working on the line art currently <3
continuing to work on the comic, but for now… character lore! character lore! almost done with the other main characters as well. might be posting these on the Glow Party Minis comicfury site. the lore posts start at an important age in their lives, up until the comic starts.
