From 2007, the year the SNP came to power. to 2024, more than 136,000 affordable homes had been delivered, including 97,000 for social rent of which 21,000 were council houses. When Labour were in power they built SIX council houses between 2003 and 2006.

In the horrific scenario of a limited nuclear exchange, Faslane would be a priority target, and Scotland would be safer not hosting nuclear weapons. It’s questionable whether the Trident system is sustainable, is reliable and the US, is no longer a dependable partner.

Deeply disappointed that the UK Labour government has blocked Ming Yang’s investment in our renewables industry - putting up to 1500 Scottish jobs at risk. At the very moment we should be building clean energy, they are sabotaging Scotland’s industrial future.
