Mac/iOS Programmer (retired), runner, triathlete, cross-stitcher. I wrote video games for 25 years, then I got tired.

Finished another classic Mac cross-stitch project, recreating the splash screen from the “Alice“ chess game, Through the Looking Glass. The last photo is the original Mac graphic I based the pattern on. Even nailed the stray pixels 🙂. It’s 1 to 1 pixels to stitches. #NerdStitch

When you are the only one who got the message you were supposed to dress up for the 5K 😆 From the recent Frozen Assets 5k run across Lake Mendota. I spied the photographer across the way and gave them a wave and a pose as we waited to start.

Don’t tell me you don’t remember me, because I sure has heckfire remember you. Ned Ryerson! Bing! I dressed up to run the local Groundhog Day 5k today. It was a hoot, and I even met Jimmy the Groundhog. I tried to sell him some life insurance.
