Self-driving robotaxis in London are a worrying development. How will drivers be supported to reskill if their jobs go? How will public safety be impacted? Who is liable for accidents? What implications are there for disabled passengers? We urge TfL to proceed with caution.
We need urgent assurances over reports of an AstraZeneca merger deal. Workers are anxious. Mergers too often come with cost cutting measures. Jobs slashed. Plants closed. Management must meet with us, the workers' union, ASAP.
We agree with the PM - care workers should be the best paid in society. Without them there is no transformation of care. Their voices must be central as the PM leads the changes social care desperately needs.
