Some days my body just gives out and I feel down/depressed. I'm just glad it's on a day that I'm not working with students so they don't have to withstand my struggles. Hoping to use tomorrow to rebound a bit. For those curious, the stress of work + grad classes finally caught up to me

Was chatting with some friends and they thought it would be nice if I offered my tutoring services for the community at large. I mean if folks need my help with math/physics/econ/environmental studies, feel free to give me a poke. My schedule is packed but there's still some open slots.

Well had a sour meeting with my employer yesterday. I think this is the beginning of the end of my time at that company. It's been 3.5 years of me working weekends since students need tutoring then, but this could also be the sign of me moving closer towards the career I wanted with my future PhD

Surprisingly folks didn't want the Nick Wilde plushies I had for trade but a number of folks were surprised with my pokemon card collection, asking to trade my higher end cards for buttons and stickers. Did have some fun pickups including a keyboard, a GameCube deck box, and a few smaller plushies

Made it to Megaplex with my cart of plushies for tomorrow's trading event! May bring my recent prizes as well for fun before checking out the dealer's den. Hope to meet some friends and potentially make some new friends!

Day before leaving for Canada trip, find out my filling revealed I needed a root canal. Dealt with pain for the two weeks I was gone on my trip. This morning I had my root canal and in less than 2 hours I'll be on a train headed to Florida... Gosh I need a nap...

Using this weekend to recharge and reload before I head off to Megaplex! If folks want me to bring any of my prizes, there is a trade event happening which I'm excited for. I've got some smaller prizes and some of the extra plushies ready to go

Really starting to bug me how women are treated in the fandom. Everyone has their own set of preferences and to claim women don't have a place in the fandom is absurd. I, for one, welcome women into the fandom since there's so many of us that enjoy what you bring to enrich our culture

For those wanting an update on how I fared with my horde of plush: - went from 5 bags to 3 - raised $850+ for charity - traded for art from 8-10 artists of varying skill levels - made several people's day with a keepsake they plan to cherish - picked up a Glaceon at the auction for a friend #Canfur

Happy to share that a number of items I put into the charity auction helped raise close to $850 for a good cause. Didn't expect my arcade adventures to help folks out but it's one of the main reasons I love doing it!

I was misplaced being 6'1" and being a backup center while being bullied by the post-grad brought to the school who wanted me gone since I made him look bad

Preparing for Canfurence soon, debating what swag to bring up to trade folks with. I know there's a pokemon trade event, a trading post, and then a pokemon go event. Hoping to maybe trade my arcade swag for some doodles/art
