Just learned my Linear Algebra textbook has coinciding video lectures on Youtube for free? I feel like an idiot not knowing this.

Okay honestly he's not that bad so far. The TA is the worst part of the class, grades like you killed his dog. But generally most of the issues people have with the professor just seems like a combination of him having a thick accent and the fact that he teaches a hard class. He's an okay dude.

Just got handed a syllabus by a professor with a 1.7 on Rate My Professor and it is the most confusing thing I’ve ever read. I assumed there were some exaggerations about how bad he was but he’s off to a horrible start.

I don't think there's been a better example as to why Greek Life should be federally outlawed than the fact that basically every campus has at least one frat house known for housing rapists. This is a widespread issue at almost every campus in the US.

"The Cornell 7" and "the 7 Cornell students accused of sexual misconduct" are both sly turns of phrase to distract people from the fact that there where upwards of 50 people in the group chat they planned the rape in.

Claude Code is so deeply upsetting to me because it seems to have led to so many people throwing best practices out the window. So much dogshit, half functional programs are churned out every day with little care to how polished they are, and the "polish" is just debug passes by Claude.

Found a decent replacement for it that (hopefully) covers the content I need for the class. Part of the issue was making sure the extra practice problems had solutions so I could check my work properly.

Sometimes the linear algebra question is some shit like "prove that something doesn't exist doesn't exist" and you want to blow your brains out.

This album is almost impossible to search up on the English side of the internet but I was finally able to track down an Internet Archive page for it. I know it has a decently popular Youtube upload as well but that doesn't have a download link unfortunately archive.org/details/2022...
