It wasn't that long ago that MAGA clumsily appropriated "woke", but a kid today would could be forgiven for imagining it's a legal jargon taught in law school and not a bigoted euphemism. For the love of God, journalists and editors should make anyone who uses it define it. Easy!

Just once I would love one of these columns to identify precisely what this means. Who, specifically, needs to "acknowledge and reject" wokeness? What would such an acknowledgement look like? Is there anything conservatives need to acknowledge or reject in their own coalition?
