Liverpool need to start signing guys - but I'm kind of sick of hearing that we need to replace Salah. Old Salah is largely irreplaceable, and every move from last summer has been to essentially set up in a way that won't need or use that style of player.

Glen Hansard stuff is a bit tricky, isn't it? I mean his Wikipedia explicitly says he groomed a teenager into a relationship. But the world of music fawns over him. Hell of a lot of cognitive dissonance.

Gianni Infantino is one of the greatest stains on the sport of football.
A shite final off the back of a good World Cup. Felt from a long way out that Spain were the best team, with insane tournament savvy and muscle memory. A 1-0 hammering in the end.
Messi, at 39, being able to do what he does is insane, but I think what separates old man Messi from earlier versions is there's clearly a total trust now between him and this squad to step up, and on him to deliver in the biggest moments.
Kane was really poor against Norway and Argentina. Just wholly ineffective, and England's pipeline up front looks completely barren.
A collapse for the ages. A mentality shift that invited EVERYTHING on top of them. Argentina fully deserve this.
Youri Tielemans might have been Belgium's best player at the World Cup. For some reason he gets overlooked a lot because he was once a bit pudgy, but he's a hell of a player. That type of signing, even at 29, where you'll get 3/4 years out of him and know it was a great investment.
Sinner wins one of the blandest finals in a while. Found it hard to feel anything. Two guys that are very hard to root for. Carlos: please come back. Everyone else: please get better.
I think Sinner wins here, maybe in straight sets. But there's a big yellow thing in the sky that could give Zverev a chance.
