It makes me upset that you have to be pursuing music/spoken word/comedy as your primary career to qualify for the Recording Academy and submit for Grammy consideration. Imagine the number of Grammy-quality albums that don't get recognition because the artist was someone who was moonlighting as one.
Maybe I'm wrong for thinking that if you really care for someone, you shouldn't need a cheat sheet on the things you've learned about them through loving them? (Exception would be if you have a condition that affects your memory.) Only time it would feel necessary would be like a gift wishlist.

Even if you really believed that Karmelo was guilty, 35 years is wildly excessive given the circumstances. I hope they appeal the verdict and request a true jury of his peers that understand that "touch me and see what happens" isn't premeditation, but a warning that "I will be defending myself."
My problem is that my brain tells me if I don't respond in an internet argument, I've lost. But honestly, I think I'd probably have won many more internet arguments (and saved my blood pressure and sanity) if I had just said what I had to say and just shut the fuck up.
I wish movie theaters would lean into the "I'm sneaking in my own snacks" culture, and team up with a Door Dash or Grub Hub (or with local restaurants) to bring in better/more affordable food. Similar to how breweries will sometimes have rotating food trucks, they could have a rotating kitchen.
Honestly? Everything. Cable TV Landlines Dial Up The PS1 Community gatherings Third Spaces (the Mall, in particular) Hell, even movie theaters. The world has changed significantly in my 30+ years here.

I hate that everything is so gosh darn expensive. 😭😭😭😭 lowkey gotta make an extra $100K/yr just to make sure everything and everyone is taken care of.
As I've gotten older, I've really started to appreciate dubbed anime over subbed simply because it allows me to look away from the screen when I need to. My only issue is that I still watch my shows with subtitles, and there are very rarely subs for the dub... so the captions never match, lol.
