I have to confess something: I used to imagine our future. I built entire worlds in my head around us, most of them pulled straight from fiction — kind of stories where love and happy ending always found a way. I know it’s embarrassing to said after all these times.

But the truth was never written like those stories.

The truth is, you left to build your future. And in that future, I was dead.
