Sometimes, I'm thinking of myself playing Roguelikes(TDRL) again and having all the fun out of them. I played a LOT of them when I was in my school days and that's one of my happiest memories somehow? Maybe replaying Nethack or DCSS all over again would be a good starting point.

Redwall (the first book) is funny because it looks like there's almost 0% chance that Cluny's horde could win. Cluny somehow managed to collect a bunch of trolling rats by his side and calls them a "horde"... and in contrast, woodland creatures are surprisingly good fighters.

I wish Lord Dunsany had written some animal stories. As far as I can tell, the closest thing we have is Kafka's work, but his stories are mostly just sad, so reading them again and again makes me somewhat depressed...

Finished Mina the Hollower. It was a very, very solid game. Honestly, I'm surprised because it far exceeded my original expectations. I'd kept getting disappointed every time the game got delayed (2+ years I think?), but now I can understand why. It's just so good.

I love that House of Leaves is a very weird parody of House of Asterion (and other works of borges too.) Also, it's really interesting what "the house of leaves" actually is...
