This recent trip with the dogs was hard. It was hard without Memphis, and it was also a fun happy time, making new memories. Memphis would have loved this trip, she really would have. As much as we miss her, I am so glad we were able to go make more memories with these dogs last week.

Happy Fall! We are so excited for cooler weather, crisp air, and camping! Yes we have booked our first camping trip since we lost Memphis. It's going to a different trip, but we will make more memories with the dogs!

81 years ago today, my grandparents got married. 24 years ago today, Jamie and I got married. That's right, it's our 24 year wedding anniversary is today. Happy Anniversary! Married for 24, together for 29! Now we can say we have been married through 6 Siberian Huskies hahah!

Sometimes I wonder about you dog. . . This dog, of all the ones we have had, lays it the strangest positions, all the time! Always makes us smile. I swear, huskies just love sleeping bellies up! All of mine have done that, but Kira twists herself into the oddest positions!

Mornings are the worst. The routine is so off without you Memphis, It sucks, and I hate it.
This was not a post I wanted to make today, or ever. Saturday, June 6th, 2026 around 6pm, we lost our beautiful, amazing, happy snuggle bug Memphis. She was surrounded by people who she knew and loved, and of course everyone at the vet knew her well as well.
Our Dog, Memphis Belle, has Liver Cancer, but all hope is not lost. Let me explain. As most of you know she went in Wednesday for an ultrasound and some x-rays. What I haven't shared yet, was that they found a large tumor on her liver.
