What makes you want to replay a game? I remember over the pandemic we played SO much Villainous because our family also had some of the games and we could easily play over Skype because everyone's movement/components are self-contained 😜
So interesting how who I playtest Deli Dash with really influences the length of the game. Sometimes it's 20min, sometimes it's an hour! What is your ideal game length for something light that you might play over lunch hour? Or as a warm-up before getting into something heavier for game night?
Will always base my rules teach on @shutupshow.bsky.social's "how to teach board games like a pro" 1) who are we 2) how do we win 3) why will this be fun 🤓 But beyond that, what do y'all prefer: a super in-depth explanation, or an overview then figure stuff out as you go along? Or something else..?
