I've spent a lot of time in TN due to extended family living there. I've been to Dollywood & stayed in Pigeon Forge & saw what her spirit & resources did to enrich an impoverished Appalachian area. She spent so much time & energy thinking of others. Wishing her eternal peace.

Team No Concessions, over here. I'd tell the US govt to get fucked & say the same to Cdns who think we should be flexible. It's a zero sum game. We can't give them an inch. The POTUS thinks there's a winner & a loser. When he thinks he's won, he won't honour agreements & he'll push for more.

Remember it well. Slept in the basement because it was cooler since the a/c was out. Worked in a hospital-row-adjacent building that had emergency generators but limited phone service until later on Aug 15th. Good test of our enhanced emergency plan which got updated earlier that year due to SARS.
