watched the first two episodes of the new ted lasso season and my thoughts are (1) it's as good as it was when it ended, the writers basically picked right back up, and (2) when, after season 3, i thought "idk if i really need more ted lasso", i was right. Fine show, but no longer interesting to me

just found out that they sell these things called journals, and it's like a place where you can put your thoughts, but it's not like the internet where everyone can see them. it's like a place to have thoughts and feelings that you don't have to share. pretty cool stuff
the take i get the most pushback on but i fully believe is that homeschooling and private schools should be banned. they're treating children like property, where parents decide what their kid gets to learn and experience, but children are people and have the right to a proper education.

this is true!! sports are like art: they exist to be fun, to develop a craft, to entertain, to move people emotionally. in both cases, rich fucks have hijacked the natural passion people have around them to 1) generate a ton of money and 2) drive wedges between people who should be on the same side
