Man, I just found out my former supervisor was let go today and the position that I left will be eliminated. Taking a new job 3 weeks was fortuitous. But also I have even more concerns about the state government’s ability to provide ongoing services.

In like 2010, I built a digital signage prototype for local events. Had a few hung up around town. It had a camera that could count how many people were actively looking. The idea being actual viewer metrics. It worked but it grossed me out so bad I took them all down and abandoned the whole thing.
Can a city ordinance ban a private company (Lowe’s) from installing Flock cameras?
It’s upsetting how often customer service employees thank me for being kind to them when something doesn’t go how it’s supposed to. Is it really that bad?
