Sitting on my parents 11th foot balcony at the retirement community, debating whether we should go down and let security know someone just walked away with their car door open, or if we should set up a camera and see how this plays out overnight.
My only thought on the St Paul Mayor’s scandal, is it’s pretty amazing how many online commentators think a man in her position would be getting/have been treated much worse. Have people lost the ability to perceive object permanence or something?
Not only would I do this, I'd make the cops uniforms hi-vis as well. Many benefits: 1) Highway safety as noted, this should get the "Blue Lives Matter" folks onside. 🙃 1/2

I was runner-up at the 1993 Wisconsin State Science Olympiad in “Metric Estimation.” Basically look at/pick up an object and estimate its length, mass, etc. but using metric units. Won a larger medal than any soccer award I ever got.

My old neighborhood in Milwaukee runs an awesome 24-hour bike ride, the Riverwest 24, each July. This year's ride will start with a memorial lap honoring Alex Pretti, the intensive care nurse who federal immigration cops murdered in Minneapolis this January. Alex used come down to ride in the RW24.

I like that they think there is some vast left wing conspiracy that simply wants people to wear masks all the time or something. Personally I think Brian Kilmeade needs his lungs to get as much oxygen to his brain as possible, but if he doesn't need them, knock yourself out...I guess.

When they first started with this vandalism BS, there was a thread here explaining the coating, application timing, etc. and why it was delaminating almost instantly. Wish I had it saved. Also wish we didn’t have to humor the ramblings of a mad man, when half a second of thought dispels them.
