What a beautiful evening for our Sturgeon Moon paddle! We caught a glowing sunset, enjoyed a calm evening, and watched the moon make a dramatic entrance from behind the clouds just in time for our paddle home. (Photos by First Mate @struthaface )

We turned canal flotsam into sunshine-blue art and loved every minute of it. 💙🌞 Participants paddled out to gather materials, carefully collecting flotsam from the canal. Some pieces became brilliant cyanotype prints, and the rest went straight into cleanup bags. Canal magic!

Arthur stole the show at yesterday's Wednesday walk-up paddle. 🚣‍♂️📦 This 10-year-old showed up ready to launch an absolutely epic cardboard ocean liner on the Gowanus. We love seeing kids bring their curiosity, creativity, and big ideas to the water. Here’s to more magical, cardboard-fueled voyages!!

A little art, a little paddle, a little bridge magic ✨ We had an absolute blast this weekend. A packed walk-up paddle, building canoe-marans, floating sculptures, and yes, the bridge even opened for us. Thanks @nyc_dot! 📸 by @nv.photos.bsky.social

Monthly meetings are back!! First of the on-water season is this Monday, May 18th. Socialize with the Dredgers at our BUNKER (2 19th St, off of 3rd Ave) for a casual member catch-up and paddle! We’ll gather at 6:30 for some chatting and aim to be on-water around 7:15.

First sunset paddle of the season and WOW 🌅 Storm clouds tried it, but cleared right on cue for a fantastic sunset. Windy, wild, and full of the best energy—such a great crew out on the water tonight! Shout out to Lexi, who absolutely crushed leading her first trip as First Mate! 🙌 We’re SO back.
