I am a Canadian engineer who writes sci-fi & fantasy novels. I enjoy photography, hiking, gardening and cats. 🇨🇦

I've been crocheting a scrap blanket of hexagon motifs. I haven't quite figured out how long to make it yet. It looks like I might need to buy a new ball of the base colour. But, I'll still have used up more yarn from my stash than I bought.🤷‍♀️ #hobbies #crochet

I finished a read-thru to re-familiarize myself with the WIP since I hadn't worked on it in a while. Now, I'm going through it to make some smaller revisions. I've previously done multiple rounds of edits, so I've already fixed the plot issues and it's down to the polishing. #CRPnessie #CampRevPit

#CRPnessie #CampRevPit Prompt Day 11 (4/30): Wild card! What prompt were you hoping to see? Answer the question you wanted to get asked! Alternative: If you want a real prompt and don't want to do the wild card, please tell me about one of your side characters!

Prompt Day 11 (4/30):

Wild card! What prompt were you hoping to see? Share anything you'd like to about your process, your novel, or your writing journey.

Alternative: If you really wanted to see a specific prompt, please describe one of your side characters!

I'm planning on self-publishing my current WIP. If I could see it on a shelf, it would be in the fantasy section. Just being on the self would be exciting enough. #CRPnessie #CampRevPit

“All right. Do you want some advice? Don’t get on the ship without finding out what Julian’s deepest desire is. I’m not talking about what you’ve heard or he claims, find out what he wants. Same with Winthrop if you have to deal with him again.” #WipSnips

My antagonist was eating tarts during the story, so he would definitely go for s'mores. There wasn't as much snacking, although it would have made sense if I provided them trail mix while they were travelling 🤔. #CRPnessie

Day 2 at #camprevpit and I'm back with another prompt for my loch ness monsters 🚣‍♀️🦕🌊 #CRPnessie Cabin Prompt: Would your antagonist eat a s'more if your MC offered one to them? What snacks do your characters eat? And, importantly, are they the type to share snacks?

Hi! I'm Ann. I'm revising an adult fantasy adventure story over the next few weeks. If I was to bring any fantasy books to camp, I'd probably bring a few that are on my bookshelf waiting to be read. So, maybe I'd bring The Hurricane Wars and Road to Ruin. #CPRnessie
