New bike day! Picked up a Surly Straggler from Dash Bikes, my neighborhood LBS. Immediately took it for a ride up the Woony bike path, and made friends with a great blue heron.

In a state so rife with corruption and ineptitude, *this* is the deep investigative journalism we get.
TARGET 12: A 10-month investigation done in collaboration with @pablotorrefindsout.bsky.social and @truth.bsky.social has revealed NBA superstar Kawhi Leonard is one of the long-hidden investors in Rhode Island FC. Full investigation w/ @timwhiteri.bsky.social 👇 www.wpri.com/target-12/nb...

Team Morales! Get our man a PVD-branded hard shell. That down hoodie is going to be soaked through in no time.
As dangerous flash floods and heavy rain become more common across Providence, many of our neighbors are left dealing with damaged property and crumbling roads. As our next Mayor, I’ll partner with our City Council to launch a Green Infrastructure Bond to reduce flooding and protect our community!
People are starting to hear what @d2lo.bsky.social and @zamafir.bsky.social have been saying for a while now.
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is flying off dealer lots, and it’s getting harder to find
Imagine living in a grownup state with a legislature that meets and votes on things beyond June.
In a major step toward addressing Massachusetts' housing shortage, the Senate will vote on a bill with provisions to allow duplexes by right and YIGBY statewide. This would unlock more home choices for Bay Staters. 🔑 Watching this one closely!
But a Polestar (that’s actually a Volvo) isn’t allowed….
Chinese Wuling Bingo could come to North America as an entry-level Chevy EV
I’d guess there’s an opportunity for a forward-thinking Rhode Island bike shop.

The Boy, test driving a 2025 Hyundai Kona EV. I was surprised at how much back seat legroom this small car has.
I still can’t get over how cool it is to get over-the-air updates for my EV. Historically, cars were finished once they leave the factory. Now, EVs continue to get better over time.
Happy Le Mans slash Barcelona qualifying Saturday to all who celebrate.
@transitguy.bsky.social's speaking my language today: Stepping down from the train in Sharon (and other stops-with-no-stations) is insane. No one with mobility issues should have to go through that. And running electric is faster, but also quieter & cleaner for the neighborhoods you pass through.

“Fell off” = restaurant worker tossed a garbage barrel at the motorcycle, separating rider from bike. I appreciate the initiative, but two wrongs holds true.
Police are investigating after a motorcyclist drove through Providence’s Federal Hill during an outdoor event on Saturday night and fell off, sending the vehicle careening down the street lined with pedestrians. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/06/09/m...
Another reason to not vote for Dan.
Today I found out Governor McKee is replacing me on the Energy Efficiency Council. I have been publicly fighting back against his proposed cuts to clean energy and energy efficiency- which would drive up our energy costs and leave us over-reliant on expensive gas.
Rhode Island keeps talking about its low unemployment rate. Maybe this is why.
Proof I’m getting old: I hopped on the buss downtown and went to the Providence Public Library without checking their hours. Oops.
