Shot this on Last Dollar Road last month. Peak aspens, quiet air, and two donkeys who wandered in like they owned the place. They couldn’t care less about the view, but I did. Colorado in the fall just hits different.

Shot these aspens near Telluride after chasing color all morning. The whole grove lit up at once — classic Colorado fall. What I love about aspens is they’re usually one connected organism, so when they turn, they turn together. A whole hillside breathing in gold.
First time shooting the hills above Telluride and wow… Colorado fall colors hit different. I pulled off the road and the whole valley was glowing—reds, yellows, oranges, and fresh snow on the peaks. Waited out the clouds and caught the light when it finally broke. Colorado didn’t hold back.
From above, the Aspens spill down toward Ophir Pass in waves of gold and green. I haven’t driven it yet, but after seeing it from this view, I know I will. #ophirpass #coloradofall #dronephotography #sanjuanmountains #canonusa #onxoffroad
The aspens near Telluride twist and bend as if alive—each one shaped by time and weather. I stood quietly for a while before taking the shot, just listening to the soft rustle of leaves in a sea of gold. #Telluride #Colorado #FallColors #LandscapePhotography #CanonUSA
Second time on Hunts Mesa, and it still gave me chills. 🌄 High above Monument Valley, the land glows gold at sunset. Our Navajo guide Ty shared stories that made the desert come alive. No matter how many times I return, this view always moves me. #huntsmesa #monumentvalley #canonusa #onxoffroad
We planned to camp beneath Superstition Mountain on our way back from shooting fall colors in Colorado — and timed it just right as the moon rose behind the cliffs. The desert light, the quiet air, and that glow on the cholla made the night feel almost otherworldly. 🌙
The storm rolled out just long enough for the San Juans to shine — snow-capped peaks, golden aspens, and that perfect post-storm light spilling across Last Dollar Road. Colorado, you really do know how to put on a show. 🍂❄️ #canonusa #onxoffroad #colorado #landscapephotography #sanjuanmountains
There’s just something about Aspen trees in fall — the glow, the stillness, the sound of the leaves whispering in the wind. 🍂 Shot this near Telluride last week, and honestly, I could wander through these golden groves forever. #canonusa #telluride #fallcolors #aspentrees #landscapephotography
Flew the drone over Ophir Pass between Telluride and Ouray this fall — golden aspens, crisp air, and those rugged San Juan peaks. 🍂 Colorado never misses in autumn. #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #Colorado #dronephotography #fallcolors #Telluride #Ouray #SanJuanMountains
Cold winds, golden aspens, and the ghost of history at Yankee Girl Mine above Ouray. Snow dusted the peaks as I framed the shot — a reminder that beauty and grit often share the same road. 🍂❄️ #OTGLIFE #onxoffroad #canonusa #coloradophotography
Above Telluride, the mountains were a riot of color—golden aspens, fiery oaks, and a touch of snow on the peaks. I waited for the light to sweep the valley and land just right. Fall in Colorado never misses. 🍂 #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #colorado #landscapephotography
Telluride dressed in gold, and these two horses stole the show. 🍂 Sometimes it’s not the sweeping vistas, but the quiet moments that stay with you. #Colorado #fallcolors #otglife #canonusa
There’s something magical about these aspens in Colorado — each one twisted by years of wind, snow, and mountain life. Standing in a sea of gold felt like walking through a living painting. 🍂 #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #coloradoaspens #fallcolors #landscapephotography
Fall along Colorado’s Last Dollar Highway—golden aspens glowing under moody skies, the scent of crisp air and pine. Sometimes it’s not about the destination, but the stillness you find along the way. 🍂 #OTGLIFE #Colorado #FallColors #CanonUSA
A rainbow appeared just as the light broke through the aspens along the Last Dollar Highway last week. 🌈🍂 Moments like this remind me why I chase the changing seasons—where storm meets sun and the mountains hold their breath. #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad
Dirt roads, golden aspens, and the first flakes of snow—Colorado showing off. ❄️ The Yankee Girl Mine stands proud against the peaks, a reminder of how wild and beautiful these mountains remain. #OTGLIFE #coloradomountains #fallcolors
San Clemente pier last week—clouds stacked heavy, the sun carving golden rays through the gaps, and the sand catching every reflection. Nights like these remind me why I keep coming back with camera in hand. 🌅✨ #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #sanclementepier
Last weekend in the White Mountains, I launched the drone into a storm rolling across the range. 🌩️ From above, the scale was staggering—clouds stacking, rain sweeping, the desert alive. Would you watch it roll through or head for cover? #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad
The White Mountains delivered—dusty tracks, quiet solitude, and then a sky that set itself ablaze in pinks, oranges, and violets. 🌄 These are the road-less-traveled rewards. ✨ #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #sunsetmagic
Quiet camp vibes with Charlie turned wild in the White Mountains when the sky lit up with mammatus clouds and storm fire. ⛈️ Nights like this are why I chase the unpredictable. #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #stormchasers
Camping in the White Mountains when the sky turned black and a storm rolled in. Clouds boiled above me, glowing with fiery light—an unpredictable show only nature could create. Nights like these are why I chase the wild. 🌌 #OTGLIFE #CanonUSA #onxoffroad
High in the White Mountains, the ancient Bristlecones endure—scarred, twisted, but timeless. Photographing this weathered trunk felt like reading Earth’s memory etched in wood. 🌲✨ #bristleconepine #landscapephotography #OTGLIFE #canonusa
🍁 Counting down the days until the trails turn gold. Charlie’s ready. 🚙✨ #OTGLIFE #canonusa #onxoffroad #FallColors
Running into the weekend like this 🌊☀️ Golden hour, bare feet, and endless ocean vibes. #RunningIntoTheWeekend #OTGLIFE
Happy #NationalPhotographyDay! 📸 From snowy Yosemite peaks to Oregon’s coast, desert canyons, and Hawaii’s waterfalls—every image tells a story. Photography is my way of pausing to see the beauty around us. Where has photography taken you lately?
Wandered DC and found myself at the Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building—red brick towers, leafy paths, and a touch of history in the air. A quiet pause in the middle of the Mall, where past and present meet.
A still January morning in Yosemite — fresh snow, mist drifting through pines, and El Capitan towering above. At 3,000+ feet, it’s the largest granite face in the world, and today it felt like nature’s cathedral. ❄️🏔️ #ElCapitan #Yosemite #WinterMagic #LandscapePhotography #CanonUSA #onxoffroad
Morning in the Alabama Hills. Rugged boulders at my back, Mt. Whitney in the distance, and the Sierra Nevada glowing in the first light. Just me, my Tacoma, and the quiet.
Shot this on a hot summer day in D.C. — the U.S. Capitol, standing tall since 1800, still commands attention. That dome? Finished during the Civil War. A quiet moment in a place where history never stops unfolding. #USCapitol #CanonUSA #OTGLIFE #onxoffroad
