Shot this on Last Dollar Road last month. Peak aspens, quiet air, and two donkeys who wandered in like they owned the place. They couldn’t care less about the view, but I did. Colorado in the fall just hits different.

Shot these aspens near Telluride after chasing color all morning. The whole grove lit up at once — classic Colorado fall. What I love about aspens is they’re usually one connected organism, so when they turn, they turn together. A whole hillside breathing in gold.

First time shooting the hills above Telluride and wow… Colorado fall colors hit different. I pulled off the road and the whole valley was glowing—reds, yellows, oranges, and fresh snow on the peaks. Waited out the clouds and caught the light when it finally broke. Colorado didn’t hold back.

We planned to camp beneath Superstition Mountain on our way back from shooting fall colors in Colorado — and timed it just right as the moon rose behind the cliffs. The desert light, the quiet air, and that glow on the cholla made the night feel almost otherworldly. 🌙

Wandered DC and found myself at the Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building—red brick towers, leafy paths, and a touch of history in the air. A quiet pause in the middle of the Mall, where past and present meet.
