Great day at the NYCPS Multilingual Educator Conference. WL teachers investigated how intercultural communication contributes to global citizenship and gained strategies for creating effective communicators by strengthening students' interpersonal speaking skills.

Just back from @cslang4all.bsky.social in Chicago. Excited to have presented on leadership development to the Delegates Assembly, a workshop on grammar in context, and a session on authentic resources. Palmer House is a beautiful setting for a welcoming and vibrant conference.

Kicking off the new year leading learning with language educators from Spring ISD (TX), NECTFL LEAP Cohort, Teacher Leaders in NYC, and language educators from CLTA. The overarching theme was: Designing tasks to meet the needs of and to challenge all learners in mixed ability classrooms.
