you cant complain about being left out if all you are going to do is be a dick and hypocrite to those around you who ACTUALLY have the knowledge and ACTUALLY put in the effort for the art they pursue. you leave a bad taste in other's mouth, and you can only blame yourself :)

A bit extra: If you are saying someone should use other styles in their dance to expand their skills, you likely mean concepts. A Popper should stay a Popper if they want, and simply apply new ideas to the way they move and what they evoke. Fixed points, acting / miming, isolations etc.

it’s hard to take people seriously about their superficial problems when they don’t even want to put in the work to learn the foundations of what they’re attempting to create. especially in dance. you cannot be mad at OTHERS when you created the problem yourself. 🤷‍♂️ shit outta luck.
