I was right. I've done 20% of Two Bits of Work and watched a whole series of doors opening, unfortunately not metaphorical doors of perception but literal doors of Power.
So I have two lumps of work to do before about 2pm and I'm looking at BBC footage of a door. If I do the two lumps of work before 1pm I can have a nice lunch out. Instead I'll be sat here at 1.25pm, lumps unfinished but with an intimate knowledge of every single person hanging round Downing Street.
And they're doing it again! I have lots of really, really boring work to do, have they no respect?

According to Citymapper, I am 192 minutes from Makerfield. Either the county is enormous or it's got terrible public transport.
