U-Matic notes! MOST transfer shops that offer U-Matic have NO idea how to get the best quality out of it. They'll use non-SP machines that are limited to 240 lines of resolution (SP: 330), and they'll use the Composite output which is blurry & has color bleed. Trust the pros! archive2digital.com

Necessary when doing large videotape capture jobs… careful inventory of tapes & QC of the digital files. Most shops will just transfer 1x & you get what you get. We may try 3 different decks to get the best result! Documentaries & archives use us because of our high standards.
