Our official audition scoring rubric is now available on our website. Feel free to give us any comments, questions, or concerns. We wanted to put this out there early enough to adjust as necessary before the upcoming casting call. Direct download link below 👇

For those of you who have just recently started following us, our voice acting rates are $300/hour for standard performances, and now $600/hour for high-strain performances. Retroactive hazard pay disbursements will go out tomorrow for cast who did high-strain effort work with us so far.

For context, roughly half of the roles we've offered have been from direct casting. When we see someone perfect for a role, we're not going to audition you. We'll just offer you the job. Then there are times when your talent inspires ideas where we can make a role just for you.

Hey there voice actor community! It's been awhile since we've done this, but we'll be rockin our weekend looking over your websites and demo reels. If you've made big changes or released new stuff over the past 6 months then drop a reply and link here so we don't miss it!

We may have been quiet on social media lately, but behind the scenes, we’re charging full steam ahead! More art, more animation, sharper screenwriting — and an incredible team of creatives driving it all. We'll soon begin sharing more details about our first official release set for 2026!

Compatible with my belief that we are entering a golden age for indie productions. There's incredible talent available if you're willing to open your eyes and see it. They see a meager social media following. I see value, and a unique opportunity to build something amazing.

Maya Hawke says producers are now choosing their cast based on a collective amount of Instagram followers they have 🎥 Happy Sad Confused | YT

Just a tweet from the heart today: If you’re passionate about what you believe, remember... the goal of a conversation isn’t to 'win' but to understand. Listening doesn’t mean conceding. It means staying curious to learn what drives others and then maturing your own perspective.

Many people probably already know this, but this line of Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back was completely adlibbed by Harrison Ford. It serves as a great reminder why you should not put your actors in a box. Sometimes they can rescue you from a weak, scripted moment. Let them act!

Well, it happened again. When I first heard his voice, Hubert McCarthy blew me away with a sound so unique that I had to create a character for him. Can't wait to hear him bring the character of Arnold Decker to life. Hubert, welcome to Greasepunk Paradise!

Only a few days left to get your audition file to us for the role of Cecelia. If you missed out on our opportunities this year, we’ll be back in 2025 with an entirely new cast of characters for open auditions.

If you're interested in auditioning for the role of Cecelia in our upcoming animated web comic series, you still have about 2 weeks to do so! More details on our website.

This applies to VO, too. Specializing in two or three media is way better for your sanity, but the best actors I know, with the most sustainable careers, still indulge their curiosity. They get lessons in other media & performing arts and nurture interests not adjacent to VO. Be well-rounded.

I look at a lot of student illustration these days and I can 1000% tell who has references outside of contemporary comics and animation. the work is better and more interesting. Read! watch movies!! dig so so deep in your interests that you find bizarro stuff that you LOVE and can inform your work

One challenge for small, indie storytellers like us is achieving true diversity and inclusion early on. It requires *more* than just research. As our team grows, we plan to hire writers who can create authentic, inclusive stories rooted in wisdom gained from personal experience.

Website tip: If you use social media as a means to network and find VO work, then we highly recommend you make your website as mobile friendly as possible. Here's just one metric from our own website showing that mobile users dominate more than half of our total website traffic.

Chart showing that out of 6789 site sessions, roughly 57% are mobile users, 42% are Desktop users, and 1% are tablet users.
