In planning the bishop candidate Meet and Greets, the Transition Committee has made a concerted effort to have an onsite event within a 90-minute drive of every congregation in our diocese. But what if you just can’t make it to an event in person?
Fr. Tom Manney and everyone at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Flint are thrilled to welcome the diocese to the final onsite Meet and Greet with our bishop candidates on September 25 at 3:00 p.m.
Trinity Episcopal Church Lexington’s bright red door will offer a warm welcome to visitors attending the bishop candidate Meet and Greet on September 25 at 10:15 a.m.
We’re pleased to announce that Virtual Youth Group, which first launched when we couldn’t meet in person during the pandemic, will return in October! Participation is open to 6th-12th grade students and their mentors. Meetups will take place via Zoom on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6 - 8 p.m.
Our sixth Meet and Greet with the bishop candidates will be hosted at St. Matthew’s, Saginaw on September 24 at 4:30 p.m. Founded as a mission church in 1954 when Saginaw County was just beginning to grow, St. Matthew’s is now led by a ministry team headed by Senior Warden Donna Periard.
