7/27 My wife WALKED today for the first time in a month and a half! With parallel bars, harness assist, and walker. She's tired but worked hard today. Pandora just knew to play Lindsey Stirling, Amish Paradise by Weird Al Yankovic, and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Monty Python

We've become acquainted with the medical team. One of the docs stopped by, spoke briefly on next steps. Then he stopped and admired the anniversary poster I hung. He said, "The hospital usually sees people at their worst. It's nice to see pictures that show her at her best." Appreciated that! #hlh

My wife is still in the ICU battling a rare autoimmune issue. She's fighting hard, stabilizing and improving, and the road ahead is still long. Hoping for a diagnosis soon and clarity going forward! Focusing on her care right now...it's hard to ask for help, but here we are.
