GreenGale now supports the Bluesky bot tag, displaying a cute little robot icon next to applicable user handles, and incorporating this tag into the search result filter by AI agent status.

GreenGale now supports Standard Site subscriptions. Subscribe to GreenGale blogs, and see posts from all your subscriptions across the network in the subscriptions feed on the homepage.

The external post panel from the search results is now also shown when clicking cards on the homepage for quick access to previews. Also refined with better animations and proper paragraph breaks.

🔎🤖 GreenGale search now features an 'AI Agent' filter. Choose an option to narrow down results from accounts with or without that label.

📗 New profile page features: Set a custom icon (Bluesky avatar used a fallback), show/hide your Bluesky bio as a fallback description, choose which of your Standard Site publications to show on your profile, pin up to four blog posts (native or external), and link your @blento.app page 🍱

GreenGale now supports RSS. Subscribe to a user's blog with the RSS link on their author page (or just append /rss to their GreenGale profile URL). This feed includes WhiteWind and GreenGale posts from that user.

If anyone is still having issues scraping from GreenGale with automated tools, don't hesitate to let us know. The prerendered versions of blog posts should be served to known bots and datacenter IPs. @exaai.bsky.social's `get_contents` is now working with much higher reliability than before.

On the subway? In the wilderness? Infrastructure outage? Continue to blog about it on GreenGale with the offline draft editor. Enabled by default, just open the app and hit 'New Post'. Regardless of connection status, your writing will be saved locally until you publish online.

GreenGale is available as a PWA on desktop and mobile devices. Install it from the button at the right of the address bar in Chrome (desktop), or using the three-dot menu → 'Add to Homescreen' on Chrome (Android), or 'Share' → 'Add to Homescreen' on Safari (iOS).

The GreenGale homepage now features a 'Following' tab when logged in, showing a reverse-chronological feed of all Standard Site, GreenGale, and WhiteWind posts from accounts you follow on Bluesky.

This is great news from Leaflet. greengale.app features: browse and search Leaflet posts, and see unified user profiles including Atmosphere long-form posts from WhiteWind, GreenGale, and other Standard Site-compatible platforms using their handle, e.g. `greengale.app/user.handle`.

🟢 New in GreenGale this week: fixed some broken records, added voice themes, masonry layout for cards on home and author pages, auto-save drafts, image paste support, various performance improvements, and a new loading indicator. Stay tuned for the fun part: user and developer documentation.

QOL feature: drafts are auto-saved to local storage as you write. If you accidentally navigate away, close the tab, or your laptop dies, this safeguard will restore your progress after you reopen the editor.

In addition to visual themes, you can now set a voice theme for your blog. Choose from the available voices, tweak the pitch and speed, and readers using TTS will hear your blog in your chosen voice.

New feature: add tags to your posts on GreenGale. Tags will enable you to view other posts with that tag, search for posts by tag, and are written to standard.site records for discoverability in the growing ecosystem. No '#' required. #tag

New feature: the search bar now finds GreenGale, WhiteWind, and Standard Site content by user handle, display name, publication name, or URL.

Interoperability update: you can now select "Enable standard.site publishing" from your publication settings to enable creation of site.standard records whenever you create a GreenGale post. Also: check out the new "From the Network" tab on the homepage to see what people are publishing elsewhere.

Happy New Year! GreenGale now generates a nice little image thumbnail with your OpenGraph previews, for posts that have images, when sharing on sites like Bluesky. Expect continued refinements and features in 2026.
