ugh. wanted to do at least one more phase for safari overtime over the last few days, really hoping to get another rhyhorn this year. but hella stressful IRL stuff has been going down and I have zero energy for hunting or editing. the safari vid might be later than I’d hoped. send good vibes plz

had a rough few days so I didn’t do as much safari as I would’ve liked. BUT today I did a decent amount of hunting while at the zoo with @fishwhiskerz.standingintheodds.com and it was so much fun!!! 10/10 everyone should hunt in public with their friends
had my single luckiest day of shiny hunting ever. I found *and caught* THREE safari shinies, including a 5% parasect. this was my first proper full day of safari hunting, so I’m VERY excited for the rest of the week!!!
got my setup mostly done after work, and did 1000 encounters in just under an hour before passing out. just two more shifts before I can really lock in 👀
I might be a little late to safari week this year bc my work vacation doesn’t start for another 2 days, but I’m gonna get my setup ready today hopefully. this is gonna be my first year hunting with 4x frlg, so I’m really hyped!!! it’s been so fun seeing how many shinies people have already gotten <3
my route 14 hunt is still going strong!!! I just got my second oddish, which means I am 100% gonna keep going until I have both the oddish and bellsprout lines complete >:3
I haven’t shiny hunted in over a week because I’ve been overwhelmingly disgustingly sick 🤒🤒🤒 gonna try to get back to route 14 tomorrow, and hopefully get that video up before safari week. wish me luck 🥀🍃✨
got to half odds for phase 7 this morning :3 phase 6 was an oddish, so there’s a non-zero chance I’m gonna keep this hunt going til I get line completes for bellsprout AND oddish 🥀🍃

someone on /r/pokemon was like “how do I encounter the moltres in asado desert? I’ve been running at it but it won’t battle me.” turns out SV was their first game, and commenters had to explain the concept of… walking up to a pokemon and pressing A to encounter it. I’ve never felt older.

genuine question, unrelated to The Thing: for others who hunt on a bunch of GBAs/DSs, what’s your charging setup? right now I just have a separate charger for each, which works fine at my permanent desk setup, but I’d like to eventually replace that with something a bit more convenient 🧵1/2
