i’ve always really liked writing augustine being forced to learn how to defend herself when at the start of the entire story she wants to be helpless so that she’s someone to be protected — and ive always kind of overlapped that thought process of hers with her fear of being alone

honestly there’s probably a lot of easier ways to describe how her ice works, but considering it’s such a ‘potential ability’, it really depends on the user’s creativity… and augustine doesn’t have that fighter’s spirit or sort of creativity either, however it is actively being trained into her
