Went to take garbage cans out today and almost had a heart attack when trying to open the latch. Scared the crap out of me. Now shes waiting for my return. Aghhhh

Good morning. Out in the yard and noticed my tried and true reblooming clematis, “The President” was putting on a show. I probably have 20 different clematis growing on trellises covering my fences. Love the stages of bud, flower, whorl and then feathery swirls. Hummers love these for their nests.

Saw the movie Dogs with a Purpose last night. OMG! I was bawling and my husband had to leave the room since we are missing our sweet girl. Today I went for a walk and I ran into six dogs who came up to me with tails wagging and full of love. It was so amazing. I just LOVE dogs. 🦮🐕‍🦺

Congratulations to Kelsey Pfendler, who became the fastest PERSON to row solo and unsupported across the Pacific Ocean from California to Hawaii in 43 days.This was a 2400-mile trip. Previous records for a woman was 86 days and she beat the men’s record of just over 52 days. You rock Kelsey!

Well took a break from the world shit show to celebrate my grandsons 19th birthday with a whale watching trip in Santa Cruz, CA. We saw Humpback whales putting on a show for us with tail throwing, pec slapping, and breaching. I needed a 360 degree camera to capture all the action.Nature is awesome!

Both my younger brother and I had strawberry blonde hair and wear glasses (parents and siblings did not). Back in the day, 1957, milk was delivered to your home. Our milkman had strawberry blonde hair and wore glasses. This meme reminded me of the teasing we inflicted on our mother. So funny!

Happy Father’s Day for all those men that stepped up as a parent through marriage. How fortunate my daughters and I have been in the 40 years since my husband become Dad. And to my father who passed away 41 years ago who showed me how loved I was, how to love, and to just show up. He was my hero.

Good morning. During our walk along the Laguna Creek Trail in Elk Grove, CA, saw goslings and goats/sheep. What a beautiful way to start your day. Our city uses goats/sheep as a way to manage weeds. Nice organic method.

Beautiful thing I found this morning. A swarm of honeybees in our front yard on a cable box. Just when my painter was going to arrive to power wash our house. Oh well, beekeeper on the way to capture and relocate. Can’t wait to see he will wrangle these beauties.

I love to mosaic! There I said it. I teach rock mosaic classes for free and just love spreading my madness to others. I mosaic anything like; bowling balls, planters, stepping stones, etc., but rocks are my favorite. Art, humor, and family is the only thing keeping me sane right now.

I know talking about our deceased pets can offend some, but this amazing family member, Napali, passed away one year ago today. She was my husbands guide dog, but more importantly our family member. We have missed her terribly, especially her companionship and humor. See you later girlie.
