i like video games, fantasy, plants and picking up heavy things- story kinda guy 📚- Aussie 🌏🦘 he/him

"Should have chosen correctly" is the most prepotent shit you can tell your players. It is beyond insulting, and then going on to write absolute SLOP to justify this stance is unfathomable.

Midnight, ironically, proves me right. By sidelining the Horde aspect of the Blood Elves, it has diluted their individual identity. There is no Horde without the Blood Elves, but there are also no Blood Elves without the Horde.

The Modern Horde, however, has been diluted. The sense of unity has waned, as the writers have lost touch with the core thematic of the Horde, and instead have moved on to racial individualism, which simply does not work for ANY Horde race, because it hurts the greater whole.

Faction identity in warcraft is so big that its the first choice a player ever makes, it locks your story nd leveling orogression, it sets the themes and playable races, and people are somehow still dismissive of it nowadays.

I flew around on the KSM bird for 5 mins and I’ve decided I just want 2500 I am the worlds worst uni student because I did get an extension on my assignment that was due friday so I could smash out the last of my 10’s this week 😂t

I’m quite chuffed with my “reading” this year (Audio books at work) I’ve chewed through like 19 new books and like 10 re reads. Last year I was just listening to red rising series on repeat 😂

More Crew Doodles. I forgot to post Old Man To'pelo. He denies being any kind of vaunted elder; really he's just content being an old woodsman, but he's had more than a few moments. I had fun with his name; bonus points if you know the tree, daily double if you know the language.

anyway replaying Zul'Aman and Zul'jara remains a constant great character - Liadrin can go away, its actually wild replaying it how QUICKLY she immediately starts going in on Zul'jan, and lecturing Zul'jara, and the narrative thinks her white saviourness is good?

This is probably the criticism....but also like....would the army have then been killed by the twilight anyway? so if anything....is the actual issue that the elves attack the trolls for going back to Tor Watha after the elves wiped it out? (you see what im getting at here)

among all the uncharitable reads of Zul'jan in 12.0, people go in on the incursion into Eversong.....and im confused because the amani have no weapons that work on the twilight, no loa, and they're being attacked across the board. Hes right? he DOESNT attack the elves, the elves attack him

Also, I'm sure if a expansion revamped the Barrens, these discussions would naturally come up with pretty much every race in there. But the reason we're talking about trolls/colonialism so much is because of how relevant it is to right now. Saying "what about XYZ" is just trying to derail dialogue

There is value in discussing any sentient race that is treated as disposable, but it becomes a way bigger problem when that race has very blatant IRL connections. Both are a problem, but trolls are a much bigger one, especially with how often IRL racist parallels come up.

People clapped at the end of spider man in the movies last night and it’s just the funniest thing to me. For reference: it is NOT a thing Australians do. It’s like clapping when a plane lands, deliciously funny white people behaviour

Again, playing support for Zul’jan and Amani writing is fun because the people against it are sending their best and brightest….. Factionalism aside- Let’s look for where the wow narrative punishes the night elves and says they’re morally wrong for fighting the orcs? Oh it’s not there? Funny that
