I started watching H2O: Just Add Water and I keep randomly saying "EMMA" whenever I'm mildly inconvenienced.
My friends have discovered that I will drop everything to solve any scrambled Rubik's Cubes that are presented to me and I fear what they will do with this knowledge.
For some reason, Amazon's algorithm has decided that I must want an obese stuffed animal and it keep recommending these things.
Finally found a weapon in Splatoon Raiders that I'm happy to have on hand as my main one. I don't know what specific abilities I want attached to it. I can't decide if pairing Freeze and Ice Breaker is a good idea.
I started counting how many named characters are in Gator Days and there's over 50 at this point. There's probably lessons to be learned from this but I probably won't learn them.
Friendship with Yu-Gi-Oh is over. Big Man is now my best friend.
The main thing that I'm learning from the classic Yu-Gi-Oh games is that Téa hates me.
So far I've managed to avoid using passwords while playing Yu-Gi-Oh games but the temptation is spiking with some computer opponents randomly throwing out scale tipping cards that I've yet to obtain. At the same time, it is a great feeling to claw my way out of seemingly impossible scenarios.
I've always wanted to keep a ranked list of my hyper fixations but I rarely seem to know that something in a hyper fixation until it's over and at that point I will have forgotten about it because I've moved onto the next hyper fixations
That single loss against Bakura will haunt me forever.
I started keeping a list of "Binge Songs" which are songs I've found myself repeatedly replaying over a short period of time. I thought I'd put them all in a thread so I can share my obvious and never ending existential crisis.
I've had a bad cold this week and my sides hurt from coughing. Laughing is excruciating. So this is the day that my brain has decided that everything I see is hilarious.
GBA Yu-Gi-Oh is such a different beast compared to the GB(C) games. The GB(C) games frequently felt like a game of attrition. I was constantly dismantling walls and trying to gain momentum to brute force my way to victory. Eternal Duelist Soul feels more like setting up dominoes.
This was the first card I used. Pot of Greed. It allowed me to draw 2 cards from my deck.
I decided to skip Duel Monster 4 for now and try DM5/The Eternal Duelist Soul. Téa is scaring me.
Finished with Duel Monsters III/Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories. I'm starting to understand why people like to use the password system to get better cards. The decks towards the end were frustrating to deal with and I mostly brute forced my way through with constructed cards.
The main gimmick in Dark Duel Stories is card construction. Victories get you a card part and you can construct monsters by mixing and matching tops and bottoms. The downside is they can't fuse and they don't have effects but the high attack potential more than makes up for it.
Joey beat me. The opponents in this game have reasonable decks and aren't just throwing out monsters non-stop. Oh no. OH NO! I actually have to learn how to play Duel Monsters.
Skipping Monster Capsule for now and moving onto Duel Monsters III. Got through the first section and I was just craving card games and I want to respect my hyper fixation before something else grabs my attention.
In this game, Mokuba is the one telling people to shut up. I'm kind of afraid of him.
Parts of Monster Capsule are basically a tabletop RPG. Nice.
I finished Duel Monsters II! I never found a single trap card during my playthrough. I was mostly just swapping in more powerful cards whenever I had the deck capacity for them.
