Look, none of this was my idea, but here we are. They said there'd be snacks. Where are the snacks? Dad, photographer, traveler, sociologist, researcher.

Just over 2 weeks on the new meds. Dr. doubled the dose of the antidepressant to ramp up, and the one side effect I didn't want- nausea- has kicked in. So that's fun! I suppose it's a trade-off that's better than the depression.

What about changing that old saying about 'anyone can grow up and become President'? We know all too well this isn't and shouldn't be a thing. He's not qualified to be a dog catcher, much less the President. Let's set some minimum job qualifications, standards and covenants. Shall we?

Perimeters, not parameters. An excursion, not an incursion. Six genders, not cisgender. Insane asylums, not asylum. Transgender mice, not transgenic mice. The IQ of a potato.

good morning all. feeling 'better' here. as in, not shifting between moods all the time - better living through chemistry, I suppose. whatever it is i'm in a more regulated state and my mind isn't foggy - and that helps a great deal. thanks all for the words of support. i deeply appreciate it. B

Of the meds the Dr. prescribed, the ADHD meds for clearing the brain fog (meds that act immediately) have been the most beneficial, and now I'm wondering why no Dr. prescribed these in the past?

How do we, as a society, reform our government, electoral process, and above all, our elected representatives to instill the values of public service? How do we move the mindset/culture of elected reps. from self-serving, insider trading, bribery by lobbies and PACS to civic-minded commitment?

Day 3 on the new antidepressant meds: Really bad dry mouth. All of the side effects, no perceptible benefits as of yet - these drugs take time. The ADHD meds are more tangible - the brain fog is lifted quite a bit. Not sure if it's the anti-repressant or the ADHD meds causing the side effects.

The doctor placed me on the wait list for the ketamine clinic - it might be as much as 3 months. Meanwhile, adjustments to the antidepressant and a new script for low-dose cognitive-clearing meds - basically ADHD meds. And now, I wait. Love you all. Be kind to others.
