We should never forget how the BBC has changed this country by giving endless airtime to Nigel Farage and other rightwing extremists, while shutting out progressive voices.

And why is #r4today giving (yet again) such prominence to a hair-brained scheme that has little chance to ever be implemented? A GE is unlikely soon and the threat of Reform winning it is apparently receding. What is the justification for legitimising it?

«The UK's Online Safety Act has a problem that its supporters did not advertise: to protect children from harmful content online, it has enrolled millions of British adults in mandatory identity-check systems run by third-party vendors with documented histories of data breaches.»

UK's admit the that Online Safety Act has in large part failed, and announce an inquiry into why the age-verification bill has not worked as (age-verification providers) promised.

Rich people cannot simply leave the country to avoid tax. All their money is tied up in assets and businesses which they will keep or sell to another rich person. They cannot avoid tax, but they MUST spread the lie that they can. Don't spread their lies for them.

Remember Theodore Roosevelt ended the 19th Century Gilded Age by Trust busting the monopolies The question is who is today’s version of TR to break up the 21st Century wealthfare subsidy Queen Gilded Age Elon Musk is hemorrhaging wealth and our governments keeps giving him transfusions.
