Just in case someone needs to hear it: You can be the biggest, loudest advocate for gun control. You can and should condemn HOW he died. Do NOT let anyone make you mourn the passing of a man who said "Your body, MY choice" with his whole fucking chest.

Reposting this custom #MagicTheGathering card I made for no particular reason at all. I've seen a few other attempts at this, almost always in W or WU, sometimes as two-sided cards playing on the "X and Y" format they never use anymore. I think this one really captures the spirit better than most.

A fake Magic card titled "Thoughts and Prayers", an Enchantment that costs 1 black mana and reads "Tap: Each opponent creates zero treasure tokens and gains zero life. Activate only if a creature died under an opponent's control this turn." It includes the quote "Really, it's the least I can do." Collector's info notes it is "VERY FAKE" with a set code "GTK", a nod to its creator. It has a photograph taken from a license free stock photos site of an empty, shadowy classroom, attributed to someone named "Sasha P."
