Morning all! I think the mist is going to burn off into the most beautiful sort of books out blue sky day! My body is reminding me I’m an old lady today We are here until 4.30pm today (and I will absolutely be going home at closing time for once!) and then we are here Saturday 10-4.30!

9pm WORLD BOOK DAY Hour 15 of 18 hours open! Missed a few hours due to customers! The after school then after work rush were amazing and made my wee heart happy! Peppermint tea and joobjoob biscuit right before the after school rush! Thanks to the guarandian angel who arrived with it!

3pm WORLD BOOK DAY Hour 10 of 18 hours open! (I only missed 1 & 2pm because there was customers in, not because I was sleeping in the corner!) Did you know we have a beautifully twinkly tree with hearts made from pages fallen out of books because there’s no such thing as too many twinkly lights!

Midday WORLD BOOK DAY Hour 7 of 18 hours open! Did you know we have 2 trolleys absolutely chock full of classics. Old classics. New classics. Beloved classics. Lots and lots of classics. Except Wuthering Heights. Because the whole world is reading Wuthering Heights at the moment! #booksky

8am WORLD BOOK DAY Hour 3 of 18 hours open! Did you know we have a window of bookish curiosities that have been donated to us by various lovely people over the years! Every single quirky item has some sort of book connection and we love to see how it makes the people passing smile! #booksky
