I think for most people, engagement with the party feels like getting on Temu’s mailing list: Just a neverending stream of spam asking for cash and no other meaningful call to be part of anything that might generate any sense of identity or community.

Access to youth sports is a real issue and probably plays a role in a national team underachieving. But it doesn’t explain a country never producing a single player to ever star in the EPL, La Liga, or Bundesliga.

Scott Spratt@scottspratt.bsky.social · 2mo agoI think of it more as a defenses learning his tendencies thing than a physical deterioration thing. If he continues to run less and he doesn't ramp up his throws to the middle of the field, he will have a smaller menu than most successful quarterbacks.
It’s nice that depending on whatever your own issue is with Jalen Hurts, that is the reason AJ wanted to leave. Very convenient guys like Scott and Matt

That means Mike McDaniel needs to do stuff other than wait for Slater and Alt to return, which I think is exciting.

What if Jalen knew AJ was starting to decline earlier than everyone else (who would know better) and that’s the real reason they started beefing.
Every Eagles reporter is obligated to tweet “the Eagles got worse”. While probably true, I will point out that the Eagles best offensive game by EPA in 3 years was week 8 vs the Giants.
I’m cool with him wanting to be traded. Throwing a temper tantrum all season (even after good games), demanding the ball, not playing his best when it mattered, while the QB got all the blame is what makes me mad.

He’s probably gonna win so hopefully he’s normal, but it stopped being “weird baggage” a while ago. Every new story makes him sound like a totally unhinged individual. If that’s what voters want then cool but there’s an actual job to do after the campaign.

Katz@katz.theracket.news · 2mo agoPlatner has some weird baggage, but what the Democratic establishment did was try to push an establishment dinosaur — an admittedly relatively popular establishment dinosaur! but nonetheless — in a cycle where people wanted neither of those things. So he’s the candidate now. This is real simple.
The Eagles can be weird but I love the fact they don’t baby their franchise QBs. Maybe Herbert would have a playoff win if he took some heat from someone involved with the Chargers
