went to see hadestown uk before the cast change and I did get to see alastair parker again (the main goal) but also witnessed a chaotically transcendent show, with a Eurydice from a past company drafted in and a show that went on with only 4 out of 5 workers.
more later but alastair parker signed my program and I can leave a happy woman
eilhana and vivienne never really see eye to eye, though Eilhana respects her opinion and the perspective she offers, even if she never understands it. eilhana and sera also mutually grate against each other, but at least there eilhana gets why sera is like that

west end rush ticket for the evening secured, train says it’ll be on time (I’ll believe it when I see it) … journey commencing here one thing to be thankful for; the heat has well and truly broken but it’s still warm enough to be pleasant.
eilhana loves kids, and she’s good with them. part of this is by merit of being her parents’ oops baby, she ends up only being a year or two older than the first of her nieces and nephews, so she grows up very much as the leader of that merry little band
