Two 90" high velocity Coilguns adapted from a ground based planetary defense fort to be utilized in space, slung between two modified Gate Class Frigates. Was I in my right mind designing this stopgap heavy anti ship/orbital bombardment weapon? Apparently not. I'm terrified. The Ballista Class.

Arnhem Class - Generation II A fairly major hull refit removing the static broadside armament as it was deemed ineffective, enhancing her overall armour and returning to a turret arrangement. Complemented with eight armoured torpedo pods for the creation of a rather capable siege warship.

Apparently I managed to completely forget to post the Arnhem Class when it was created - she's another first rate, similar size and weight class to the Arbitrator and Libertas, the three together making up a sizeable chunk of the Kalypsan Navy. (Generation II model in my next post)

Libertas Generation IV - Updated main armament, secondary armament brought to up to spec with current advancements, changes to armour package bow and stern, as well as the armour over her torpedo banks amidships, creating less of a gap between the major sloped plate and the armoured housing.

I fill out my lore occasionally with background ships of various types and roles produced by manufacturers who did not survive the outer rim's constantly changing environment and fell into obscurity, their products outliving them. A personal lesson/thought. Sometimes, the people we love, as partners or friends, leave. And we're stuck with the little mannerisms and ways of doing things we started doing because of them. Do not immediately ditch these things. They may be someone else's, but those people made you who you are.

I always try and get pictures in the Bluebell woods every year. I think this year my pictures finally feel able to do it justice.

I don't have a conventional camera. Not one that I use often, anyway. However, as I've mentioned elsewhere on my account, I have a Dwarflab 2 Telescope. And it's surprisingly good at photography of wildlife.
