why do the canadiens always take the dumbest penalties at the worst possible time?

When people underestimate Patrick Laine’s return i show them this clip of him scoring 5 goals in 5 shots in one game. #GoHabsGo

WELL, WELL, WELL, would you look at that! Slafkovsky scores with Suzuki and Caufield on the ice… Caufield scores from a GREAT feed by none other than SLAFKOVSKY… and marty thought it was a good idea to put slaf on the 4th line… St-louis needs to go back to coaching peewees.

how great would it be to see Slaf get a hat trick tonight

Can someone teach Lane Hutson how to shoot properly?! Kid will never score from the blueline if his shot never makes it to the net

ET C’EST LE BUUUUUUT! NUMÉRO 20 NOTRE PREMIER CHOIX AU REPÊCHAGE JURAJ SLAFKOVSKI!!!!!

only to watch the habs take 13 shots on net

Patrik Laine will travel with Canadiens to Columbus, New York and Boston

Marty taking a breather before tonight’s post-game interview

how all Montreal Canadiens fans feel lately:

Kirby Dach could’ve won the game for the habs if he had finished that beauty of a rush. Instead, Kirby Dach cost us the game by being caught flat footed in OT.

loving the physicality that the Savard - Xhekaj pairing brings to the game

the Habs new Caufield - Suzuki - Newhook line is looking goooooooood

it’s going to be a really interesting/fun match tonight! Will Dach at center and a 4th line Slafkovsky mean they’ll finally show up? Will Joshua Roy bring what is expected of him? Will a Lane/Matheson pairing equate to Hutson’s first NHL goal? What’s the powerplay going to look like? #GoHabsGo

Has Marty lost his mind? I understand switching things up & sending a message to Dach & Slafkovsky that the way they played vs. Vegas was unacceptable… but i’m worried that these frequent changes are inhibiting the young guns to develop the chemistry they need. ALSO, where does LAINE fit in?! 👀

Patrik Laine has shed the no-contact jersey at #GoHabsGo  practice

it’s about goddamn time!!!

Michael Hage, the 18yo, 6ft1, 190lb forward and the Montreal Canadiens’ 2024 1st round — 21st overall draft pick First 11 NCAA games played as freshman: 8 goals 🚨 8 assists — 16 points 👀 There are brighter days ahead for the rebuild. #GoHabsGo #HabsProspects

I dream about this

🔴⚪️🔵 HUGE HABS NEWS! 🔵⚪️🔴 Patrick Laine is expected to return within the next 10 days! Will he be taking Dach’s spot on the first line?! or will he start on the 2nd with Caufield and Newhook as 2-C?! Either way i’m sure we’ll see him on the pp and his presence is much need in Montreal right now.

i can’t believe the Montreal Canadiens didn’t try harder for Montgomery to come home.

DOES THIS MEAN SLAFKOVSKY WILL BE OUR 2nd LINE CENTER?!

and he is listed as a predictions by mise au jeu — I expect a fully dressed Laine this Saturday!

Laine skates with Canadiens for first time since injury

I have a feeling that Patrick Laine will be in the lineup this Saturday vs. the Vegas Golden Knights 👀

Jim Montgomery may finally come back to his hometown 🔵⚪️🔴

can you imagine playing against a line with these two madmen? #GoHabsGo #NHL

tbh i’m happy with getting a first round draft pick for David Savard.

meet your new team Canada starting goalie and Vezina front runner!

we are so fucking back (for real) !! Next stop for the habs train is the playoffs! #GoHabsGo #NHL

Sam Montembeault (4-8-1) records his 2nd shutout of the season by making 30 saves and shutting down Mcdavid and the Oilers! Brendan Gallagher tipped in his 8th of the season giving the habs a 1-0 lead, Kaiden Ghule scored his 2nd, and Jake Evans secured the win with an open netter! #GoHabsGo
